I just bought a good project 67 Lemans today.
The guy also has a 4 door 67 Lemans he says I can strip anything out of I want before he trashes it. My question is the one I bought doesn't have any seats, will the seats out the 4 door work ok? And I assume all of the dash is the same. What else would be worth pulling off? Is the 326 worth pulling to keep? Anything else someone else needs? The body is junk. Any help I would appreciate it. |

326 is worth keeping if it has all the brackets and accessories on it - especially stuff like power steering, alt/water pump brackets/pulleys
i assume they're bench seats in the 4-door? i don't see why you'd want them in the first place =] yea, the dash is the same windshield would be the same - tons of little pieces

If both cars are 4-door the seats would work. But if the one you bought is a 2-door it will be difficult getting into the backseat. / Hans

Measure the windshield before removing. I don't believe they are the same, but I've been wrong before. If they measure the same, the stainless trim would be good parts to have. Most parts from the dash forward should be the same.

If possible, just take the whole 4dr from him if he is going to junk it. There are so many little parts you may want later.

Thanks for the info, I think if possible I will drag the 4 door home too.
We'll just have to see what the wife thinks about it. Thanks. Justin |

I'm pretty sure the trunk lids are the same, too.

I think I might already be stretching the "understanding" with all of the
"classics" and parts I have seemed to acquire. I should be able to at least squeeze one more in though. Justin |

Get the 4 door for parts, over 95% of those parts will fit your project. I believe the rear doors will also fit a Tempest or LeMans Wagon, so you might be able to sell those items, as they are not being reproduced.

I won't be dragging the car home for a couple of weeks yet, and I didn't look at it real close, but it seems like it will definately be worth bringing home.
Thanks for all of the info. Justin. |
