Default 1972 Wiper Motor

Here's a heartbreaker. I received my 1972 Trans Am back from a Chicago shop after 2 years that supposedly specializes in these cars. The car had the original wiper motor - I sent it out to Steve Hackel for a restoration at a cost of $175. The shop then managed to lose the wiper motor but decided to deliver the car without saying anything. I guess they thought I would never notice. Can someone take a look at their 1972 Firebird and tell me the part number for the wiper motor so I know what I am looking for. A picture of an original with the date coded foil sticker would also be appreciated so I can eventually look for a date coded one. The car is now in a NY shop having much of the bodywork redone.

Sure is. I would appreciate it. I think if it has the foil tag with the date code on the can that indicates it is original.

Thumbs up

E-bay seller "WS6ta" has correct NOS motors, and can have the correct and date coded labels printed to date for your car. He knows the correct specs to print.

His name is Dario, and his e-mail addy is: [email protected]

Not cheap, but if you need it . . .

Good luck!

Below is a pic of the NOS wiper motor I bought from him last year.

Thanks Lloyd for Dario's contact info. Sounds like this is exactly what I am looking for. I forwarded the info to the shop that lost it and waiting to hear back. ...still wish I had my original back. Many thanks
