I don't have the production numbers on 1972 Formula 400's, but they are becoming very collectable. They are great looking and perfoming cars. A lot of us here on this site would love to have one our garage. As far as I can tell the parking lamp lenses were clear on cars built before Jan 1, 1972. Cars after that were built with amber lenses, but there have been some later '72 cars with clear lenses reported on this site. Seems like Pontiac used up whatever clear lenses they had left after Jan 1. Jim |
