Default back up lights

i was wondering if any one could tell me where the back up light switch was on a 79 trans am?

Its underneath the dash, at the base of the steering column. On an automatic transmission car it also serves as a neutral safety switch.

got them fixed i didn't have the rod under the hood bolted up because of my headers. put i have a after market shifter so i just bought a couple switches.
