What is a good tire size to go with my 70 GTO conv. that will not rub and not have to much tire space between the tires and fenders etc. I will not be racing just driving around town. Does anyone know what the difference would be on my speedometer with either 60 or 70 size tires? Does anyone have pic's of what there 15X7 tires look on a GTO. Thanks for your help, Steve

I have 235/60's 15 x 7,on my 70 hdtp. I like them , and just ordered the same size in a bfg t/a for my 72 which will be wearing 15 x 7 honeycombs. I believe the 60 series size is similar in hieght to the g70 - 14's that were factory for your 70.

OK- found a shot on my digital camera of my 1970 convertible, with the 245-60's in back, 235-60's in front. All wheels are 15X7 AR Torque-Thrust II's.
