Default Back Glass 1969 GTO: Available?

Looking for new back glass for '69 GTO hardtop. I contacted PYA, Ames, and various vintage glass places listed on the internet. All said "not available" but one replied yes. $672 installed. Anybody know of another source? I could order the glass and install it myself. What's the going rate for new glass (assuming of course it's available)?
That's about all for my RAIV GTO. Rear bumper is getting show plated right now and I will re-do the stainless trim when the glass comes out.
Thanks for any & all help!

on a high value car like that i would find a correct used window before i put in a jobber, i would think some of the boneyard guys in hemmings could help you pretty easily. probably a hundred or so i would think, not a very high demand item particularily if you need a non softray one

Seems reasonable. I've contacted a few vintage wrecking yards. If they have one, it's got scratches. Seems like it's common for the DA sander to take a swipe or two (or three, or...) across the corners when the old cars get painted. My GTO has aftermarket glass all around already so I'd rather see unscratched vs. OEM perfect. And I might consider OEM perfect if somebody has a lead...

Check out this thread. You can get new but date coded glass. Not cheap, but for the car you have probably what you want.

Thanks! Looks like what I was looking for (OEM Glass). I'll call them in the morning. Don't expect it will be cheap but want it right. I'll post the quote (probably after the jaw hits the floor)

Does a 70 coupe rear window interchange with 69?

Call Auto City Classic in Minnesota. They sell repro glass
and will put the correct date coded logo on it for you. They have the best
prices and service. Their phone number is 1-800-828-2212. I needed all the
glass for a 69 I'm restoring and it arrived all date coded and ready to go
three days after I ordered it.
