I passed this guy on the freeway a few days ago. Car looked good when I was going by it at 85. I thought I saw the ram air IV on the hood but wasn't sure, but I guess it was.

yep same car but it was 99K not 90k...sold on a lousy auction day (wednesday)..was a top 5 car nonetheless for that day...i heard same rebody rumours but not sure if true...

maybe thats why its for sale again so soon
So lest see SR block Redone body with wrong VINs whats left? is it a steel hood? Also seems like if youre going thru that much trouble for a 6 figure car at least make sure the cowl VINs match too. |

Not bad money considering a concourse numbers matching RA IV 4-spd car can be had all day long for $125k.

I'd still take a rebody over a swiss cheesed car any day - and the SR block only means he decided against having the face of a WT block decked and the 2506 stamped in the back.
55k is cheap money for that much of a car - although from a sales standpoint other than the pedegree of the tags, what seperates it from a 350 car with the right hood, pans and motor?

Its been pulled from auction.All bids are cancelled.
Perhaps this was just a cheap way of fishing. Just thinking out loud that if this car was at BJ how did the owner get it back? Something smells funny. |

Since BJ is a no reserve auction, if a car doesn't bid as high as the owner would like it to, the owner can high bid the car to keep it, but he/she also ends up paying the comission. Not a bad deal for BJ, as they get their money either way. ramair2, I knew that you'd straighten me out on the price. LOL!!! |
