That's because doing it RIGHT takes time (and money). Anyone can do it quickly and do a half-a$$ed job of it, as evidenced by every Pontiac you've touched. It doesn't take a degreed engineer to do that. Fact is, one need not know you personally at all to look at the pictures of your contraptions and say "WTF?". To then know your education and background in engineering, one would have to say "WTF was he thinking?!" What could a novice or "bucks-down" amateur learn by your example?

So you have more than 3 patents accredited to your name? The number isn't important, because even 1 patent is more than I have.

Thinking of changing my signature to "Mark Chiappetta - smart enough to know better...cheap and lazy enough to try it anyway".

It is fun to rhomp on it knowing the Denny's driveshaft is twisting a Strange Dana60. Rest of the GTO is used GM stuff hehehe, repop'd finery, or 'glass front body panels.
Except Intake Manifold(s) are Offenhauser Dual Q-Jets or Tomahawk solo Q-Jet. Gotta dial-in the MPG. Otherwise: it is done.

Here's some pictures of one of your other "projects", Mark. Just thought I would post these as a reminder to you, and a lesson to others, of the issue of "money" versus "doing it right."

The two don't always have to go hand-in-hand.

Sometimes a $h!tty product is a result of laziness and in cutting corners, not due to lack of funds.

Love the engagement of that blower nut in the third pic, by the way. I'll bet the others that can't be seen in the pic are just like it.
