Default 70 GTO Console lid

Does anyone know where I can locate the inside part of a console lid? I have the cover, but the frame? that bolts to the hinge is missing.

Used part sources (wherever you may find them)- but good luck- those are always broken up.
If the lid is intact (and, there is no way that the bottom would be intact, without the top cover also being intact and still attached), expect to be paying at least $200 for a used one. NOS (if you can find them) have been selling for $500 and up.
That entire section is just thin molded plastic, which really was insufficient from the beginning for handling the pressure of the spring. The reproductions don't have the 1970-72 release button, but they may be the best bet without spending a fortune.

Thanks, I might just have to try to make one from Duron or some other material.
