Default Pacific Performance Racing - Ken "Ace" Brewer

I went down to pick up my rebuilt 400 (specs in sig) at Ace's shop in San Pedro last Thursday. It was great to meet the guy and to see the shop in action. The engine was on the dyno when I arrived after a long 6 hour road trip and I was watching it do a couple pulls within a few minutes. After running a errand to OPGI in Huntington Beach I came back and he had my motor waiting there, ready to load. I'm looking forward to getting the engine in my rig now that I've heard it run and know what it will do on the dyno (412HP/467Tq at the FW - not bad for a 400 "resto" motor). I would not hesitate for a moment to go back to Ace or to refer anyone else to him. He follows through on commitments, and is a straight shooter.

THANK YOU ACE!

Hey Greg, if Ace built the engine for you then you have a good one. All good people there at PPR. It is always nice to hear your new engine run on the dyno, i had the same opportunity here when a pro engine builder in Verona, NY built my 463". When he was done with all his testing he let me in the dyno room to hear my new engine run. He did one pull for me and it was quite an experience. I had to be there on time for the pull because he had (2) more engines to test so my engine had to be removed from the dyno. The dyno is money for the builder so i am just happy of the fact that he did a pull for me so i could hear it. Good luck with your project.

Default Great Customer Service

I have also had a great experience ordering parts from Ken's website. I like to buy my rear main seals from Ken. (as well as many other parts) I had a minor problem with one part, and Ken was quick to send a replacement at no charge. He is friendly and helpful on the phone also. I appreciate the great customer service.

I want to send him a big thanks. Last year at hot august nights he called me on a weekend to answer a stupid tech problem that the summit boys were all scratchin their heads over and had me stuck on the side o the raod a few times in the heat. I called Ken's shop, and even though it was late friday, he thought about it and early am...saturday he figured it out, called me long distance on his dime and got me back on the road. I have since bought a number of things from him, and every single piece has been fairly priced, as well as very well thought out. he always asked me what I was trying to accomplish before he would offer an opinion or advice, which was valuable in and of itself. hats off !!!
