Had a 66 Sprint parts car that was a GM program car
options Sprint Am radio foam cushion, spare tire cover, rear defogger red fender liners door edge guards visor mirror, osrv, tilt mirror trunk lamp, roof rail lamp courtesy lamp group underhood lamp custom seat belts clock decor moldings exhaust splitters tilt wheel tinted glass PW power bench seat ride and handling pkg front rear floor mats PS,PB A/C 323 axle I still have the billing history so this might help decoding options. There is 26 option groups listed for this, remember several groups had multiple options. Also have 66 Sprint TI ignition. Only about 200 of these cars were built. I have no 66 Sprints left so lots of stuff needs a home. |

I have two cars I thought I would mention... both 67 GTO's.. The first is a Cameo Ivory on red interior, 3 speed, console, Rally Gauges, SafeTtrack (3.08) 8 Track, door edge guards, wood steering wheel, tinted windows, power steering, power disc brakes, and my favorite... red fender liners. I'm painting the car black and adding some rally ones. I think the fender liners will stand out better this way. Who knows.. maybe I will find a set of hurst rims and go that route... I'll post pictures of this car from the day I found it.
The second car is my personal favorite. Firstly it's a 400 HO car and has the 4 speed, m-21, black interior, Rally One's, Power brakes, power steering, roof rail lights, lighted iginition, Black vinyl top, walnut shift knob, SafeTtrack 3.55, and the most interesting option.... no paint code. From what I have been told and researched, this meant that it was any GM color but not a 1967 Pontiac color. Taken from a sample of the original paint and then discussions with a previous owner, it was painted marlboro maroon, a 67 corvette color. I'd really like to get this car together and put it beside a Stingray that color. |

3.55 gears would be an M-20.
I had a few with no paint code or "spec" . Got a build sheet that says to put an uncut quart with car when shipped so paint will match. |

My car sold new in Vancouver, BC. Canada and was built at Pontiac on 02-13-67. It has the part # XL 6458675 on the Rally gage cluster. The car is all in parts and off the frame. |

Not sure what rare options mine had, will be doing a PHS search. But it still has on it power drums and on the rear suspension it has Superlift shocks. Not sure if they we an option but they are really cool.

About 3 years I had a 66 Lemans Sprint that I bought from the original owner that had 43K actual miles. It had factory red fender liners, rallye I's, red brake drums, P/S, P/B, A/C, tilt, auto, console, buckets, 4 way flashers, rear defog, reverb, it was maroon with a white vinyl top, and white interior. It was a very striking car to look at an drive. I am still sorry that I sold it.

well, in the interest of not being a hypocrite, i should post pictures - since i keep asking for them
my car: 66 gto convertible - definitely in driver condition, so some of this may look rough power windows, power bucket seat, 4 way flasher, vacuum gauge, console, buckets, power top, power antenna, trunk light, hood light, speedometer warning gauges, tilt, adjustable mirror, rally I's, PS, PB, wood wheel (repo on the car - have original tho) and other more minor stuff added: reclining bucket seat, headrests (although i don't use the actual headrest - i don't like them), radio delete plate, ram air pan adding: vacume trunk release - need the glovebox switch for that and it's good to go first pictures: headrests and recliner you can see how the passenger recliner is a bit different than normal - big bar going across it and there's a cylinder under there you can't see
