Default Steering wheel repop

I've met this guy and his wheels look real good.

I want to get it done, but I can't afford it right now. When I hit the lotto I'm getting it done. I think he's in Poway, CA.

Good luck

Default Tom, thanks for the confirmation

Since you know him, let's ask him for a group discount. He seems like a really nice guy.

If he needs to set up the molds for a longer run, maybe we can all benefit.

He does some work that the rest of us need. Please forward this message and mention the shameless plug.

Mine's a 64 Gp too.

Saddle and clear needed here. Maybe a burgundy and clear also.

Green & clear '63, Turq. & Clear '66, Gold & clear '66. If we coulld get 50 would he do a reduced price maybe? Been thinking about it myself but can not justify it when there is so much else I need to do.

Don Eash in PA also does the clear wheels, high quality but also in the $1000 range.

there is no deal and they are not mass produced,I think were all screwed.Just send him your money and hope it gets done this year. For wheels he has molds for its much easyer. My 63 Tempest was his first one.He told me feb, then end of feb,now mid March.I asked why,he was going sking.Just the way it is.You DO have to pay in front.Heard today the PA guy is a year out.Tom

Default Canyon Country wheel guy

There's a guy, at the Pomona swap meet, right when you enter. He casts some steering wheels to.

He wants even more for his services. I talked to the Quality guy at the first day of the POCI convention here, last summer. It was so hot, he didn't come back for the other days. The vendors were way away from the action at thye POCI.

Take care and see my new post for some good news.

The last guy I spoke with wanted $450 to do a 1963 GP casting. That was 7-8 years ago. I about fainted....now it's over double that?

That Grant wood wheel is sounding better all the time.

Another place to consider is J.D. Donaldson, at http://steeringwheelsusa.com/. They restore steering wheels but I don't know if they do clear rims or not.
