Hi all, what is the maximum bore you can safely take a 400 out to? My WT code 400 is already .060 and I would like to freshen it up.

Some can be bored more than .060 and some can't. I've bored one .065 after having it soniced, but I've found blocks that couldn't go over .030. All in all, you need to have it sonic checked. I figure that a cylinder of .150" on the thrust side is the minimum for a non filled block, about .090 on the others.

What kind of availability is there on Poncho pistons over .060?

You could also sleeve the block and go back to standard. It's about $50 a cylinder around here - may end up cheaper than custom pistons.
