This Car belongs to a friend, Brian Flynn, He asked me to post some pics of it so you guys could check it out! not finished yet, this Car was being built to race, by his Dad, until he passed away this past summer, You guys probably have seen pics of Brian's old 66 GTO on here, Gold, does bumper dragging wheelstands! Now owned by PY member Jeff V, sorry don't have alot of spec on the car, Brian thinks it'll be in the low 10's with the combo it has. he wants to have it done for Norwalk, but since his Country Music career has taken off, His Band, Flynnville Train, is currently touring with Toby Keith! it's kinda keeping him away from the garage. but he's gonna get after it when he's home! here's a pic. i'll post more later as PY seems to be running a little slow this morning!

Looking good! I really like the 2-tone paint.

I've been thinking of sending my car back to the chassis shop to have the rollcage bars extended into the engine compartment. Do you have any pics of how the bars go from the interior through the firewall? Are you still using the stock motor mounts along with the elephant ears? (I think that's what they're called)

Brian, It's the original color scheme to the car! Dave liked it, and decided to keep it!

I don't think the stock mounts are being used,not 100% sure thou, it does have a midplate setup as well, i've got one shot of the interior i took several months ago before the seat and other items were added. here's few more pics!

Great body and paint work!!! It's nice to see another Tempest, with all the LeMans you see made into racecars.

Thanks, a long time friend of Dave and Brian's, did the body and paint work, look close at the interior pic, the doors are fiberglass, they went the "extra mile" and installed the factory vent windows and window trim! the front fenders are fiberglass as well! Dave was building this car for NMCA Nostalgia S/S class, even thou he's no longer with us, his car will probably get to run some of the N S/S class races, with Brian at the wheel! when he's not out touring with his Band!

I would love to have one of those sitting in my garage. I used to see one sit outside at a garage for years just sitting there with no cover on it here in PA. Well one day I thought I would go and see if he wanted to sell it, and it was gone. Didn't ask if he sold it or sent it to the yard.

on the paint scheme and I DID see the '66...so I know that the worksmanship on this ride will be outstanding, as well! Dammit!!! You guys are gonna use up all the neat NOS parts before we get started on our wagon! lol Keep the pix coming. I need some guidance. Saweet! Ron

well thought I get ya caught up on what's happening with the Tempest. about 10 days ago, got a call From Brian, After alot of deliberation,for Mainly financial reasons, (musicians don't get signing bonuses with there record deals! Home, and family, and bills come first!) he told me he's gonna have to sell it! well, after kicking myself for not Buying the 66 GTO he sold to Jeff Verdi when he offered it to me first, this time I stepped up and bought the Tempest! I know Dave (Brian's Dad) would approve because the car meant alot to him. kinda keeping it in the local pontiac family this way, and Brian will have first divs if I decided to sell it in the future! don't know how long it will be before she's on the track, got some finishing work to do (wiring, interior, bumpers,Etc,) gonna be putting my 66 Tempest Drag project up for sale soon. here's a few new pics!

Beautiful car! Looking at the pictures of yours motivated me enough that I went out in the garage and started my front Wilwood conversion. I've got it all torn down, now I just need to figure out how to get the center out of the drum.

I noticed your coil overs are installed in front of the housing. I've never seen them done like that before. Very interesting. Do you think it will react the same on the strip?
