Default Roll Bar in 63 questions

I've been looking at how all of you have placed your roll bars and front tubes and under the dash tube. My question can I place the front most tubes into the dash then to the floor?Has anyone tried or thought of this? Thanks Bob

They are supposed to mount to the frame, not the floor. The floor mount would not provide the strength.

What frame? It's a unitbody car. My hoop is welded to a plate welded to the floor. Haven't needed a dash bar yet to be NHRA certified to an 8.50 et but will probably add one.
