Default Lights pusle at idle rev go bright

Is this a normal thing? I have a high output 135amp three wire alt. The lights pulse only when engine is idling, give it gas and every light ie. dash lights and headlights get bright.

Thanks,

not normal, alt is not putting out enough amps at idle, change pulley size, increase idle, adjust voltage reg. etc.

Engr.
How do I adjust voltage regulator? The alt. pulley measures 2.640 inches O.D.. What is the size I should try? The Idle is Ok as it is. I don't want it to race. Thanks for your help.
