I didn't realize until I saw this thread that this is the same a$$wipe I had dealt with about 8 months ago.
I was actually looking for some floor pans, found the site online and called.
I guess that I didn't give the idiot the details of what I needed quick enough so he hung up on me. I thought the connection was just dropped so I called back and, he told me flat out, "yea, I hung up on you!".
So I just gave my few explatives and returned the favor....

The way I see it, I work too damn hard for my money everyday to give it to F##@$%%^&%ing guys like that!!
I expect a certain level of customer service when I'm giving them my hard earned dollars. In return, I'll always show a loyalty to those establishments and, purchase from them again.

He can rot for all I care.........

Well, it seems pretty much unanimous...the guy is a jerk on the phone. I called about a '68 Tempest/GTO ignition switch. It's not being reproduced so while tough to find, it's not exactly rare. He quoted $400 for a used one- When I said, "$400?"...He called me some name I didn't quite catch and slammed the phone down.
I later got 2 switches plus a bunch of spare odds and ends from a fellow PY'r for around $50.

I called him asking about some tempest taillights and was quoted 450 for NOS and 275 used. Don't really care how much stuff he has, I'm going somewhere else with that jerk and his prices.

Several years ago, I was looking for some Pontiac parts that I was beginning to believe when unobtainable. I called these guys and yes they had the parts but the price was somewhat shocking. However, I had already WASTED more than what they wanted for the parts in fruitless telephone calls, so I said OK, and sent the money. He evidently shipped the parts the same day, as I had them the following day. Parts were superb, far beyond my expectations. I was a happy camper.

Last year, a good customer was looking for some relatively scarce Pontiac heads. I tried this forum, CP, etc., as well as all of the well-known Pontiac parts suppliers with no results. I again called B & T. Yes, they had several sets in stock, including a set with the date code I wanted. I told him I was calling for a customer, who would call later, and what was the price. I was given a price, which I gave to my customer. Later that week, the customer called to find the price increased, and when he asked for the date code, he was told that getting date coded parts would be $200. extra. End of telephone call. My customer found a set through HMN about 3 weeks later.

One instance very happy, the second just the opposite.

Will I write this guy off? No, but if I should ever need some extremely rare Pontiac parts, I would drive to Oklahoma with cash in hand, and buy on the spot; but only after I had exhausted other sources.

Jon.

I guess 'Billions and Trillions" is what he is trying to make off of hard-to-find parts. The bad part is as long as there are buyers, he will be a seller. Just my 2 cents (which would be about $75.00 there). Daver

I have to say he wasn't too bad to deal with. I needed NOS or absolutely perfect grilles for my 74 TA and they were not out there anywhere. I called him and he told me $550 shipped. I asked him if they were perfect and he assured me they were. They showed up 3 days later and they are 99% perfect. I am happy. Frank is a little short but I would order from him again as long as I had exhausted all other means. :fencing:

I jusy sold a PAIR of extensions for $200., thinking that was a fair price, to a fellow GTOAA member.

There are too many good and helpful people to deal with in this hobby than to force yourself to deal with idiots and people with attitude problems....just my 2 cents.
