You'll probably end up closer to 9.0:1 than 8.5:1 with the 400 6X heads (98-102cc's).

Lots of cam choices for an engine like this,too many really.

It's about the most common pontiac combo going right now.

Like I said,do some searching in the archives,tons of cam info to ponder
