hello pontiac community, its me again the "douche bag" that dosent know crap. looked at ohio cranks website today and what did i see not1, not2, not3,but 12 thats right , twelve different cranks for pontiacs forged and cast at prices so low many of you won,t want to believe it.BELIEVE IT!!! WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE A COMPANY LIKE THIS THAT SUPPORTS THE PONTIAC COMMUNITY . so lets here from all of the ney sayers and other non belivers. i bet that their prices are as low as you will find and without a big introductory price drop. what a joke! and all the guys that got their refund for the overcharge on the 1200$ cranks have enough to buy another crank.whouda thunk it! or you could pay your way to norwalk this year . and by the way i called ohiocrank and rod journals are all bbc except for the stock throw models.so my friends ,revell in the moment good parts for a good price from good people you can trust.

I talked with Stan a few weeks back about 4.00 forged cranks. His response was lets see how we fair with what we have offered. I have a 4.25 billet from Ohio and a 4.00 forged from Scat. I have nothing but good things to say about Ohio Crankshaft.

65************GTO,
You "ring" either one of those cranks to see how they sound? Just wondering. What does the steel look like Dark? shiny? etc on the counterweights Tom V.

As Ken said check it first! My machine shop has said EVERY aftermarket crank for every company has had issues somewhere that they use so they check them all every journal. Snouts like the original Eagles. Rod journals out of taper or too big a radius.

According to the original poster with a Chebby rod. According to him some of the ad stuff is wrong on the rod journal size.
Skip, according to Moldex, my 4.0" stroke IA-2 crank checked out perfectly. Tom V.

Why in the hell would anybody offer a crank that would'nt be able to use the multitude off "off the shelf" pistons that exist already, and instead require mods to those existing pistons or a custom piston or rod to use??? That would cut the market to virtually zero instantly for those cranks. I'd bet $$$$ the 3.75" stroke forged crank uses the stock rod journal. ![]() He never stated which listings were right and which were wrong,he just said "call Ohio crank"... I think you read too much into his comments Tom. |
