7/16 bolt head... 6.8 rod... In the middle of checking clearances now!

How about ARP 7/16 bolts with a 5/8 Nut head:63ft-lbs. That's what My tomahawk I-beams had: and got.

doubts you gots a 7/16 bolt head.

Thanks for the spec.

I do indeed have a 7/16 bolt head. They are a 12 point bolt with integral washer, which are usually smaller diameter than regular bolts. I can take a picture if you really don't believe me.
