Question High Tech Coatings

Anyone using high tech coatings:
Thermal coatings, Chambers (Alum or Iron?), Valves, piston tops?
Horsepower, coolant temp differences, stay on? breaks down?
Dry film lubricants, crank, cam, bearings, rockers, pins?
horsepower, wear, wears off?

Inside the engine I use coated bearings, piston tops/skirts and valve springs. The bearings I purchase direct from Calico already coated, the pistons & springs were coated at Polydyne. Never had quality issues with either company.

For appearance items I use a small, but very good, local company called Protexit Performance Coatings located in Canyon Lake, Tx. They coated my headers and much of my exhaust system. Also custom brackets for the alternator & power steering pump, brackets, intake manifolds, etc.
