I did check the gauge for accuracy and it was right on and yes I do have top and bottom filler panels. I did minimize the impeller-to- plate clearance. I just feel and ton of heat coming off the motor when the hood is up. I keep wondering do I need adjust the cam. I set it up with both dots aligned. I am now wondering if I need to move it a little. I did not block the intake cross over off and there is a lot of heat there as well. As I said before I think this one has me beat.
