Default 65 vert rearend

Will a 65 elcamino rearend work on my 65 lemans/gto vert? Mine is a noisey 10 bolt that's about all i know about it the ID waz ground off. The camino is 12 bolt. Would 12 bolt be better than a 10 anyway? Thank's in advance

Not too sure the drive shaft will have to be shortened. I installed a 67 12 bolt in mine and used the origional driveshaft. did not have to shorten it. However u jopints were a PITA. Lots of confusion about what works.
