Looks like someone spent a lot of time/money to make this car look like this. It appears to be a plain Jane 350 car with A/C that has a 400 hood and blue interior and paint job added. Doesn't appear to be a real T/A - wrong hood, wrong front bumper, grills, rear spoiler, etc. If you are serious about the car, get the VIN and have PHS document it for you.

Tom

I am a car dealer and I'm familiar with that site linked above. Chances are very slim that you will actually get the car via their website. Whatever you enter as your high bid is what they will offer the insurance company however the insurance company will be receiving other bids from other sources also.

I agree that the car doesn't appear legit. I have the vin # on the car so if someone wanted to PHS it, let me know and I'll send you the number.

Dead give-away is the Lordstown "U" VIN code. No need to pay PHS for this turd.

Norwood "N" produced 677 cars, Van Nuys "L" produced 20 cars. No "U" Trans Ams were built.

As far as the column shift, three of the nine RA IV auto cars were not console equipped, hence they default to column shift.

I checked the price on this car with only a couple of hours to go and the bid at that time was over $11k. The link above has a couple grand added to it for their fees.

So someone wasted some money. In order to buy it from the actual owner, you have to be a dealer of some type so some dealer picked it up and probably has it sitting on his lot now as "The Real Deal" for $25k+. Some gullible idiot will probably buy it too.

It looks like they used a side stripe like the Yenko camaro had.
