Im NOT big on "dub" wheels, however I like them, and wonder about the 8 inch on stock suspension, also wonder on backspace with WS-6 rear ( disc)

I think they went too far. They're too big, and too "two dimensional" -- the honeycomb cells seem to lack the depth of the originals. They appear to be machined from a billet, but they really need to be a true casting to get the right look.

Would be nice if someone would cast one that was more faithful to the original in maybe a 16x8 size....

It's a matter of preferance.
I seen them on the 73 Brewster at this years NAT's.
It's nice if your doin a resto mod.You can get some seriouse meat under those rims.Classic style yet modern.
Would I put them on my car,no way, why?
It's not a resto mod,to each his own.
But they did do them right,I must say, damn nice machine work.

I'm with you, Alan. I like to see 'em look just like Bill Porter drew 'em up.

later i want to build up a 71 ta clone as a street driver.i'll keep my real 71's in the garage, anyway, i was thinking of these honeycombs or the 16 inch ralley II's so i could take advantage of modern tire tech for better handling.the price is what may send me to the rallies.

I don't mind them myself.
My early Bird will stay stock, but then again, like some of my other cars, I have spare wheels/tires that I trade off every so often.
I wouldn't mind those for a night hanging out with the older hot rods here in town.
It's your car, do what you want.
There will always be someone who dislikes what you want to do.

Bird72

The only thing that looks better than Honey's w/o trim rings are Rally II's w/o trim rings. LOL

Ditto, Bob!

If Year One had done closer to OEM appearance, and in 15"-16" rim diamteters, they'd have a winna.

As they are, no thanks.

I would have to agree on the 2-D apperance.

They do look sharp BUT they need to bee deeper.

Nice try but no cigar......

Those look sweet...personally I don't like the original honey combs my sister had them and I like the rallies better. But to each his own. I would probably put those new ones on my car.

Nice find cliffhanger

I think rally II's look good on some cars but some cars just call for Honeycombs. ...especially if it's mine.
