Hope someone puts a sticky back on this. I'm checking it periodically hoping to see the 61-64 trunkpan available so I can move forward with my frame-off. It'll be worth the wait. Any word or estimate how long before available? Ready to place the order.

I hope to have some very good info on the 61-4 trunk pans very soon! I am working on a partnership to bring these to market very soon. They are already at the manufacturer in Taiwan and ready for tooling. I should know something within a few days. This is going to take a sizable investment on my part. Now for everyone who said they would buy one to hold to their word! Stay tuned for further info. No PMs please.

Since he's only doing 61-4 repop wouldn't it make more sense to pin his other thread and let the 65-70 thread DIE!!!
Hey stevez... let us know how you make out with the Chevy pan (maybe your own thread) sombody else on here did that but said the center section came nowhere near close.

At this time, the trunk pan in my '65 Cat 2 + 2 Sport Coupe appears to be completely rust free, but I've never seen it from the underside, 'cause I've never had reason to drop the gas tank. I can try to take some measurements...

My 2 dr 65 Bonne really needs an entire trunk pan as well. I keep hearing that 65 Impala's will work for a Catalina. I just wonder do all the ribs and contours match, or is it just that it fits the same size area? In other words, it fits the dimensions, but someone who knows how the pontiacs look could tell it's a chevy replacement. Just something a purist would note.

I just happened upon the new full trunk pans for 65-6 Chevies at the Charlotte swap meet over the weekend. They look nice. I don't know how the will work or interchange with our Pontiacs. Price was $990.00 each. The pricing was the holdback on following through with producing the 61-4 full trunk pans. Will Pontiac guys pay $990.00 plus shipping for these?

I guess paying the price for the pan depends on the budget you have created for you car, it may also depend on how creative you are if yor doing the work yourself. I have a Bonneville 2 dr ht parts car that has a complete trunk pan with very small holes here and there. I have thought about light blasting and painting ths inside, then waxing it and then laying fiberglass over it. This would produce a templete mould that I could use as a pattern to build myself one out of the correct gauge steel. One has to be innovative at times.

Did my eyes just see what I thought they saw? Replacement floors this summer? Is this real and confirmable? You old Pontiac dudes must be jerkin' my chain! If not, I'll buy two, thank you very much. Hellerods
