That's what caught my attention about this car. Those '70 - '72 non-AC bezels are like hens teeth. The average clone isn't likely to be fitted with one.
So it makes you wonder if the car was misbuilt at the factory, or "retrofitted" with A/C...

looks good from a distance, but pictures ask as many questions as they answer.
wrong spoiler ends wrong scoop base 73 seat belt retainer over the doors wrong fenders just the easy stuff to see in a couple quick minutes.

Is that a Mopar dual snorkle air cleaner?
Appears to at least have a nice fat style steering wheel. |

possibly another 455HO, would be nice if they posted the PHS to see if it's a HO/Ram Air car. Seems like I've seen it before but I can't quite place it?

Nice looking car.
I'd say it's a D port engine, just smells like an iron intake in the pics... 'nother special order paint W66? (I wonder?) DON'T like the Parts Place steering wheel,it sticks out like a SORE thumb...don't know WHY they always have to take off the NICE stock wheel. WTF is that where the radio should be....?

The worst mistake is the 79-81 rubber spoiler ends. If they do that I can't imagine what else they are capable of.

Beat me to it. Don't think its a PartsPlace wheel, looks like one of those fake leather recover jobs.

Black was an available color in 1971. In 72 it would be special order.

70 & 71 standard trim interior did NOT get carpet on lower door panels...
Good eye on the radio script. I LIKE IT! What's NOT to like? Too much air in the springs (about 2") Those paper tags on everything ruin it,.......they look like K-mart mark down tags... According to the gang here, the trim rings are incorrect.......(I'm STILL looking for a "documented" Honeycomb 71-73 T/A with PO6 on the sheet/invoice) I'm guessing that's a Legendary seat cover/door panel set?......they look OK but would really like to see them in person next to original....

Subject car looks sharp. I'd let some air out of the springs, too.

I bought the legendary standard blue set for my 71 TA. I think the color looks great. It is hard to compare it to originals since the old vinyl is often faded or baked and darkened over the years. Before buying the legendary interior, I had them send me a color swatch which I compared to one from SMS. It was virtually identical. After receiving the seats I compared them to a small area of vinyl on the door panel that was under the armrest and still somewhat bright. It matched really well. Also, I sent off a blue plastic piece to SEM for them to match for the rest of my interior and their paint look really nice up against the legendary vinyl. If you are interested, SEM has my color match on file under #6169 dark blue under their color coat line.

What's up with that flex fan and spacer - shouldn't that be a clutch fan or were they only used on AC cars?

2manyT/A'S is correct. My Formula is not here with me, but I found a pic of the door panel, standard interior. It is vinyl on the bottom. ![]() All my other 70's were Custom interior, which did have the carpet.
