In my never ending search for a late 2nd gen T/A I came across a car that was in a movie that I have never even seen. In 1997, Disney did a remake of That Darn Cat with a red 1978 Trans Am. I found the car by chance and only after I spoke to the owner did I learn about the movie. I guess only 2 of the cars survived the filming and its one of them. Its a really solid car that runs but the interior is shot as is most of the spoilers and front nose. Factory red/red 400 auto. Im probably going to try and pick it up sometime in the middle of the week. I want to do a factory resto but its tempting to repaint it in the movie scheme which it still wears now. Red with a lame white stripe going down the middle of it. Any thoughts?

My daughter used to watch that movie everyday. She loved it. I didn't realize that there was a T/A in the movie until I caught a scene. Of course I had to watch the rest of the movie.
