I haven't posted in a while but remembered there was something I wanted to share with everyone. It's a little lesson on storing spray cans of paint or other chemicals. We had just finished painting my 79 TA with White Pearl and I had it stored in the garage. Now I usually have paint cans on shelves all over the garage. But I had recently bought a new storage cabinet and had just put all the paint from around the shop into the cabinet. Well, I come out one morning and there is a strong smell of paint in the garage. So I opened the cabinet and there it was. The top had come unseamed on a new can of BLACK and had completely covered the inside of the cabinet. I was a mess. My car is less than three feet from this cabinet but the cabinet contained all the paint. This could have been a disaster. Just wanted to pass this along. You never know when a spray can is gonna let go.
