Hello, all! Here's how I got to this site.
It started when I was 14. Dad brought home a 72 Formula 400 he bought from the guy down the street. I loved that car from the first time I saw it. I learned how to drive in it, took my first driving test in it, enjoyed the Friday/Saturday night cruises in it, had my first date and my first kiss in it, all the time treating it with a combination of loving care and youthful exuberance. Looking back, it was one tough car. My dad had told me it would be mine one day. Then, my sister drove it to college and it was neglected in most every way. Eventually, it was traded in and I never saw that car again. FF to present. I decided to find that car for myself. No way I'd find the same one from so many years ago, but any one of the same year would do. I also began to read about the history of the Firebird, and soon found out 1972 birds were of low production which would make the search more difficult than I thought. Well, I did finally found one in CA and it is now in restoration in NY. Soon I'll be able to drive the car I always wanted to call my own, and this time the car will stay in the family. John BTW, dad can't wait to get behind the wheel. He turns into a kid when we talk about it.

Really solid looking project. Worth the wait I'd say. I see they have a couple more nice Formulas one and three pages over.

Looks like it is coming along nicely. I like the way those guys present and explain what they are doing and why they are doing it.
Looks exciting... M
