heres a few of the UK ones, ill sort the rest out when i next get a chance.
66 2+2, sadly been squashed.  67 GTO, started out as street racer back in the 70s, ended up orange & a strip only car, i looked at buying it about 5 years back but it needed way to much work to make streetable - last pic on the trailer is what it looks like nowadays

Agreed, many little things not quite right, but all easily fixed.
What I don't like is the use of the Hurst rims  Rick ran her with plain steel rims.Looking at the site linked I don't see any pics of body off and the unique ladder bars are gone? http://metalcraftersonline.com/jgg.html None the less a Great REAL old school drag car and I wouldn’t kick it out of my garage

Shiftydr, I believe the Nemesis car was campaigned by Jerry Stealy out of Illinois . I don't know if it was Fred Borcherdt's car. There was a whole bunch of 69 Judges running in stock eliminator back in the day........Bill 3970 SS/IA

Only car in NASCAR history to start and finish a race (albeit many laps down) on the same set of tires. A tribute to its fine low speed handling and hard compound rubber. Nice to see pictures from the UK. Glad to see you guys have some interest in our favorite cars over there. You'd have to be quite dedicated to pay what you have to to feed your habit.

I'm excited that I finally have something to add to this thread. I bought a stack of old magazines from the 50s and 60s from a guy on a forum. Lucky me, lots of old Pontiacs!!!

That orange '70 in post #730 looks like Goatmans old car. I know it was sold to a guy in England.

A quote from the last page of the above postings.

That was the 389 they were writing about, Smaller than the Fords and the older Hemi's they managed to outrun them. They managed to stay with the 409's in '61 and the 421 outran everything in '62. If Pontiac had been allowed to continue racing, as Chevy was, they would have become the most popular swap engine. They were well on their after '62.
