Thank you. Maybe it wasn't this car but it sure is close. OR, maybe my memory is better than the reality was??? Either way the car I remember left a lasting impression and could be why I loved Pontiacs, even before my first one. Unless Ray ran some high rpms with the RA V, it may be what I remember?? I just don't remember it saying Medicine Man but I do remember the Medicine Man Catalina. I distinctly remember the guy next to me in the stands saying he was running a 4 cylinder Pontiac in it today. Might have my cars mixed up. Oh crap. Alzheimers is hell. Mark L

The BEE-ON Video series is a wealth of knowledge and memories of the old strips and cars. Jim Amos, the owner, is someone who does it for the love of it. Lord knows he doesn't make a lot of money at it.

Found a shot of an Arnie car taken at the Winternationals this year:
http://s1017.photobucket.com/albums/...urrent=014.jpg Don't know if this is a clone or the real one that was restored several years ago. Nonetheless, putting modern rims on it with modern looking slicks kills the whole effort. Nothing worse than someone building a "period correct" cackle car and then half-assing it with modern rims/rubber.

Wait a minute here, is the driver of the Grumpy's Toy Camaro Drag car smoking a cigar while staging ?
![]() I've seen old images from very old Nascar days in which the driver is having a smoke in the pits but I've never seen anything like this?
