On my way to Norwalk in august. Pulled into a truck stop in Tucumcari New Mexico. This was sitting there on a trailer.

Here are two more pictures. The Time slips and pit passes were under the carpet. That is all I have. Jerry had a flood in his basement in the early 80s and lost all pictures and paper work. But I still have the original owners manual and protect-o plate because his mom had it at her house! The second picture is a couple small items I have to do yet! THANKS! Mark

That was 1962. If inflation averaged 5% annually since then, the $7,000 total cost would be $76,500 today- which would build you quite a lot of dragster.

Here's some vintage shots of an injected Pontiac powered funny car from across the other side of the big pond, that was campaigned by a FB friend, Roy Fursman.

Todd,
I'd of thought Truman would have been racing the 72 LeMans he had, in 1973...??? You and Truman doing any racing this year???

Okay, Todd. It was my understanding that you had bought the car, but I didn't know that you were Todd1035, and that you were from Jersey. I wonder if my buddy got mixed up and thought I was asking where Truman was from, rather than you. Didn't mean to get something started.
Your old car wasn't Truman's, as well, was it?

Here's an old 57 from back in the day I thought was pretty cool.
Never did much with it and ended up dumping to buy more Firebird parts. P.S. Can't really see her but that's the wife scratching my paint |
