No it started out as a 350, 2spd open rear end car. I added the 400 stuff.

Thanks I can't wait to start tearing around in it this spring. I have had it since 1981 but it's pretty much all brand new now and with the 455 5 speed and suspention mods it should be a blast. Come on spring

Jim Mattison's old car originally a RA I auto. Now a 455 RA II headed solid roller all steel full interior beast with rollcage, mid to high elevens with a Torker & prepped Holley 3310 750 Vac secondary carb. Very tame & driveable on the street in traffic.
