350 lemans max revs
New Member here. What is the most rpm's I can safely turn my 350ci poncho before damaging it. It seems the later i wait the harder it shifts and the quicker my et is. But I'm afraid to shift any later than 5500 in fear of destroying my engine. The engine is a mostly stock 350ci poncho with a .040 overbore, 4bbl holly in place of the old 2bbl, 2802 summit cam, stock 4x heads ,and headers running out side pipes.

Welcome to the board. Without knowing much about your ride, i`d stay on the south side of 5700.

With the cam you have Im sure the valve springs are up to those revs;
Did you use heavier forged pistons or cast ones ? Did you have the rods shot peened or add ARP studs ? Id say south of 6000 rpms would be a good ballpark.

If you still have the stock 40 to 50lb oil pump in it, I would not rev it above 5000!
Used stock valve springs may let you get above 5500, but I would not bet on it with the stock bottle neck rock stud adjustment.
