'02 Grand Am Fuel pump replacement
Anyone replace the fuel pump in one of these? Do you have to take off the fuel tank or is there a access door? Suggestions? Thanks

There is no access. You have to drop the tank. It is a very easy tank to remove.

Thanks maybe I will give it a try. It is not my car so I am not familar with it. Darn kids!
Is it pretty easy to pull the pump once the tank is dropped? |

After the tank is out, I use a big screw driver and a hammer to get the retainer off and on. You need to be carefull when you go back together not to let the seal roll or you will get a SES light.
