I don't think they hang too low, about to the bottom of the rim (there are 14" rims on it in the picture). I have never seen a factory sway bar for these cars, but I imagine they connect directly to the lower arms. Obviously these new bars connect differently. They were the only ones I could buy at the time and I had a heck of a time getting Addco to get them right.

Sixty Five they look OK to me. Mine are about the same height and I have over 40,000 miles on them without any troubles. I think as long as they don't hang below the pumpkin its OK.

Those Walker stainless clamps are fantastic! Just recently, I was doing some tail-shaft work on my tranny, and was wondering why the tranny wouldn't lower when I lowered the jack, I forgot the disconnect the down pipes, they were holding the transmission up!

The car's been repainted. I think the original color was called Silverleaf Green, but the folks I bought it from called the new paint Seafoam Green. I've had most of the car apart at one time or another and have seen parts with the original color still on them. They seem to match up pretty well from what I have seen. The color is what caight me for sure. This summer should be the first time I can actually drive her. Had to do a fair amount of work to make her road-worthy. I can't wait!

GTO 1967 - that is funny b/c the wagon I bought from John that you posted on here has the EXACT same paint story. I think that the Seafoam has more metal in it. My interior is still the silverleaf, which is more of an institutional green. Getting ready to try and match it so I can just do the column & bottom dash while changing to 4 speed. Will keep interior the old color.

Looks great with the wheels! Maybe we can get them together at Norwalk if I am running again by then.

Nice sunny day in SoCal, so out came the Gp. I should have washed it,but at least I drove the dust off before taking the pics. It has a nice sound to it, dual exhaust with DynoMax mufflers.

12:48@109 mph in the 1/4, 7:95 @ 87 1/8th. 4530 lbs with me in it (Car scales). 455 pump gas, RACE ported D-port 6X heads. Stock suspension, 235/60-14 BFG Drag Radials (Note the fender skirts). Full stock interior to include buckets, console, tilt, electric windows, etc. Street driven. Lot'sa of fun sneeking up on folks.

The Light Blue car can be seen at the end of the video, I only got it into 3rd gear before I ran out of room to turn in. I should have done a drive by & got it into 4th but the road has a sweeping turn & this car is not set up for cornering. Turn up the volume & you can hear me rolling into the throttle in 1st gear, the carbs can be heard going wide open over the open exhaust. It was a very entertaining experience & I plan on doing it many more times in the future. Also notice how quickly the car accelerates & I was taking it easy, letting off the throttle on each shift, check out the front end rise. Anyone who knows these cars & has driven a stickshift has broken the weak trans mounts.
These two cars will be at the Indian Uprising show in Saint Charles, parked inside of course.

After a 30 month break, I'm getting some good quality time in on restoring the Catalina. Cutting out the rust this week. It's not going to be an easy fix, but it could be a lot worse.

Three SD 421 Cats in a row, the two Silver are real SWISS CHEESE framed lightweights. All are equipped with manual transmissions. The Dark Blue one toward the left has a 600 HP SD-455.

Bruce, Looks great! I like the Rally II's on there too! Are those 15x6 or 15x7 inch Rally II's? Have you converted to disc brakes in the front or still on drums?
