With the car being Atoll blue and it looks to be a Sandalwood bucket seat interior, the cowl data tag should have been something like this:
ST 70 24237BF BODY TR 257 28 28 PAINT 02D Being equipped with a 455 Ram Air engine, the rear axle should have been a 12 bolt. Way more info than I thought I could ever get on this car. Thank you. With the frame mounts being 455 specific, are they any type of real rarity, like A-body only? |

ST 70-24237 BF 05*** BDY TR 257 (maybe B80) 28 28 PNT 02D 012345 678910 (it's these numbers that I collect) They reproduce the 455 frame brackets now (approx. $160/set, I think). But a couple years ago they were selling for over $400/set, if you ever found a set for sale. If it has the 12 bolt rear still, I'd be interested in it. |

Remarkable story, all the way. Does the firewall have hole for RA pull cable ?
Pull the MM brackets if they are still there, or photo them. Maybe the clone of it will pop out for sale on eBay someday, and we'll get to see how the PHS really looks. Was it stick or auto |

Rear axle, engine/trans and anything to do with Ram Air is long gone. There is the hole for the cable where it went throught the firewall. I suspect that this car was totalled in the late 70's and stripped before it ever hit the yard. It's been there a long time. I did get one park lamp off of the LF fender and a couple of pieces of misc. chrome. The turned aluminum dash parts were there also. The part above the radio was the style with the small tabs, so I took a chunk of the broken dash for a pattern for the holes. I double checked the frame build date. It's for sure 11 3. On the partial build sheet I found on top of the tank, there is an option listed as FOAM FRT CUSH. The rpo number is unreadable. What would this option be?

Sales Code 421, UPC B50 added a piece of foam in the construction of the standard Front Bench Seat.
It was not applicable for Bucket Seats, they had foam cushions as standard. I do not know if it was available as an option for the Notchback Bench Seat interiors available in the GTO. On the Manifest for a Bucket Seat GTO, B50 FOAM FRT CUSH would be listed but noted with an asterisk to indicate Standard Content, there would be no listing of it on the Window Sticker as an extra cost option. Same way that Sales Code 524, UPC B30 Floor Carpet was asterisked on the GTO Manifest, since Carpets were also Standard Content in a GTO. Not sure about the Notchback Bench Seat in a GTO, but I'm guessing Foam Cushion was Standard Content for that seat arrangement also. |

Probably no floors or belts left. ...
Is there enough of the floor to tell if the tranny hump was auto or stick, and/or hole in firewall for clutch rod. Tab on frame for z-bar. Hdtop 455 RamAir Auto would be 1of 241 Hdtop Manual 455 R/A would be 1of 302 Maybe the MM frame brackets will still be there, and we can narrow down the engine/trans. |

I can look for the seat belts. But I think there going to be shot. Those belt bolts are near impossible to get out on the really rusty cars. My Judge was OO/Sandlewood originally. BVZ, I want to say it's an automatic car. Years ago I could have told you right away, but I've looked at so many cars since then, I can't really say for sure. I'll have to dig in and check the pedals again. Day job is at a salvage yard, which doesn't help.

Checked on the trans this car had. Thought it was an auto, but was a stick car. The Ram Air hole in the firewall was peeled open. They must not have had an allen wrench to take off the connecting block. 455 frame mounts were still there. The hood photo was taken during the era of big hair and power ballads.
