Ok.... so she has a job offer in Kingman and they want to fly us out in 2 weeks...
What's the area like?

I'm trying to find a job, but man..... being a white male is not easy..
any of the job apps/forms i apply for have the EOE/Diversity stuff. why don't they just say no WMA's (White Male Americans)...
I applied for a job in NM, they were up my assss something fierce to complete all forms, hounded to me to get the last 3 pages faxed over to them.. they were the diversity and ethnic background info... once i submitted that, SILENCE.... i get totally blown off.
this has happened on a few occasions too.... and my work mates have had similar results...... diversity my assssssssss

how's the weather there in Kingman?
do they have emissions testing?
i do IT/Technical type of work, not sure what i can find in the area, but i'd be game to doing something like public safety or sheriff, etc..
do they get forest fires in that area on AZ?

seems like a good location, between Pheonix and Las Vegas, plus Hauvasu to jetski

she has her ANCC exam next week, and hopefully she passes...
she will be a Nurse Practitioner in Psych..

I don't think they have any forests to have fires in!

I've been through Kingman a few times when I was headed to Laughlin or Vegas or Death Valley. There's not much there, if you're used to the city life, although it's close enough to Vegas to run up and have some fun.
