My under dash air deflector door in the Heat/AC box apparently quit working on my '68 GTO. The A/C and fan are on, but nothing comes out the dash vents. Just had some motor work done and I wonder if something was knocked loose or not reconnected. What are the usual suspects to check? Thanks!

Check under the hood on the passenger side firewall...should be a vacuum hose connection going to the box. See if you see any open ports or loose rubber hoses in that area or to where they lead to get the vacuum from. Hope this makes sense.

You got it CT! It was a loose hose going into the firewall, more towards the driver's side. I believe it should have a one way valve going to it?

I still can't get the door to divert to the center vents. It goes to the floor and the defrost. Am I putting vacuum to the right hose? Does anyone have a good '68 A/C vacuum hose diagram? None of my books have one. Help, it's going to be 96 humid degrees here tomorrow!
