Calling Electrical Wizards near Detroit
Anyone near the Detroit Michigan are good with electrical? I have tried just about everything posted to get my fuel gauge working including pulling the dash three times, swapping out three diffrent clusterstesting all the wiring and I just cant get the thing to work. Im at my limits and need the help of a good electrical guy...somebody please help!

Have you checked the float inside the tank?

I havent lowered the tank but here is the thing I have an aftermarket gauge that works using the tan wire and its own power and ground.

Thats strange. Maybe you need to connect a seperate ground to the gauge. Apparently if everything else works with the aftermarket gauge, all of your tank internals are good. Have you cleaned the ground wire location at both ends? I'm no expert, just trying to offer suggestions.

I'm in the Lansing area. A bit of a drive from Detroit, but do make trips to the East side from time to time.
