I'm also a member of that club... with the unusable MR-1 and two IA2 blocks currently in service. Like Skip I cannot publicly comment much, but no doubt we were craped on.

I know Brian my post every time the company names come up, but I'm glad he does. I used to visit the board all the time almost everyday. Then I put my self through school and had to put the car's and hobbies on the back burner and concentrate only on school. Now I have finish school and got a good job as a programmer for a insurance company, I have been married for 20 years and never had kids so we adopted 2 boys.
Now we are putting my wife through collage so money is tight.
I have a 1973 TA and a 1977 TA that I want to give to the boys when they grow up.

Now I have time to get back on the car's the 1973 first.
I was looking to get a MR1, Now I'm very glad we have someone that takes all your crap and will still keep posting,, I could have been one of them that bought the block. Not knowing about the defect and recall !
There was one on ebay a while back and you never know they could be one pop back up on ebay.

Now just being honest if I would have got a bad block and they where going to make me pay shipping both ways for a recall, I would have been done with the aftermarket Pontiac companies, and put a LS1 engine in both cars.
Now I would and will buy from allpontaic and pdude. they have put the faith back into Pontiac for me.

Every company has its up's and down's,,, How does the company conducts itself when its down that matters.
Maybe if they would drop the lawsuit I would give them 3 to 5 but right now they get LIFE !

Information is what this board is for.
Your going to always have two side of a story, let both side talk. and let the readers make up there own minds.
You don't have to go to putting someone down or calling them out on there cars. because they don't have the money to get there or they don't run as fast as you.

It took me 20 minutes to delete about 40% of this thread and I probably could have deleted 90% of it. If a guy asks something about an IA block, the answers better be about the IA block. If the topic starter is not asking for comparisons, then NO COMPARISONS should be mentioned, started, infered etc! This is truly getting ridiculous. There are enough topics on this site that address the KRE problems for 'newbies' to find on their own. If they don't find the stuff, shame on them. If someone wants a comparison (+ -) of each, it better be pretty damn objective or we're going to just start giving vacations without warning. Enough is enough.
