Default 1966 389

I've found a 1966 389 out of an executive that I can pick up if I want. I don't know much about engines this early, and am curious if this engine can bolt into a 1969 or later pontiac, and if so, what modifications are necessary?

It will not bolt into some latter models (like 70 and up F body firebirds/trans am, and the latter G body cars) with out motor mount adapter mounts.

Steve's correct. Aside from that, look at it like a ".060" UNDER 400"... Use the later heads and they're excellent engines.
