The rims are "Hot Wheels" by KMZ made exclusively for Discount Tire ($141 each) http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/whe...AAINT&pc=60505 . They are still in inventory but discountinued. Mine are 17x9 with a 0 offset (5" back space). Tires are Nitto 555, 255-45 front and 285-40 rear.

Hello everyone, I am new around here what a great site!!! Boy you guys got some super sweet rides. Here are some stats on my Formula 400.
This #'s matching 1970 Firebird Formula 400 4spd 12bolt was born with 8 factory options on the 3rd week of July
(07C) at the Norwood Ohio assembly plant, and was shipped to Arthur Center Pontiac in Springfield MA. This rare Keylime green exterior and green interior (code 43,) still retains the original 330 hp WT 400 engine, Close ratio 4spd transmission and 12 Bolt Safety-T- Track rear axel. This car has undergone an extensive frame off nut and bolt type restoration. I began this restoration in September of 2002 and completely removed, replaced and restored every nut; bolt and fastener, rebuilt the engine, transmission and rear end. The body still retains all of its original sheet metal with the exception of both quarter panels. This painstaking restoration was completed in November of 2003. The body and paint are near perfect. Everything new, N.O.S., rebuilt or restored when possible. All trim and bright work restored to mirror finish. New brakes, lines, suspension bushings, shifter rebuilt etc…
Options are 4SPD CLO RATIO TRANS, AXEL-PER, RADIO P/B, RADIATOR-HD, SAFE T TRACK, F70X14 WL FG, CONSOLE, ROOF MLDNG.
Other options I added are hidden wipers, ralley gauges, tilt formula wheel, wheel well mouldings and of course what should be on every firebird a REAR SPOILER!! I know some people don't like them on anything but a T/A but Birds look like crap without them!! IMO
Here are some before during and after pics.

Wow, absolutely GORGEOUS! Love that color & those options. So yours must be the Muncie M21 trans with the 3.73 rear gear, correct? My '70 T/A was ordered the same way.

Welcome aboard, NO67GTO.

Gorgeous Formula - I like the colors, and . . . the spoiler!

Kudos for restoring one fine Pontiac.

Great car NO67GTO, I'm originally from the Springfield area and knew Center Pontiac well. My father was good friends with Gary Center and all of his cars came from there. Shame when they closed, but I did get a pair of NOS fenders out of the parts department before the doors shut.

Love the car, it's optioned just right!

That is a VERY cool shot of a gorgeous T/A.

The lighting reminds me of the shot of a Buc Red T/A (and Silver Formula IIRC) in the '73 brochure.

Thank you Lloyd. That was the photo I sent to Haggerty when I insured the car.
