Default Quick question.

I look at this every so often. But I have'nt in a while and I'm too lazy to read the whole thing again. So I'll just ask the question.

How much would you guys be willing to pay for # 18 guage steel reproduction trunk pans for your big cars? and a Sub-question; How much do the die-hard, authentic-resto guys care if the beads and grooves are identical to the original?

Please share your thoughts. Thanks----

I used an Impala trunk pan in my 66 2+2. No one could tell that the pattern was not correct with the trunk mat in place.

Great!!! My 65 Bonneville has trunk rust, too..like all Bonneville ...the rest of the car is solid, but the trunk floor is death. Has AMES the part yet? Will ask....

Oh, sorry, that would be very nice. I have a 65 Pontiac Parisienne, too. The trunk needed replacement, too...easy job, all is 65 Impala and easy and cheap to get.. i nice round thing to change. Looks like 1965 now. Why don`t they reproduce the pans for the 65 Bonneville? So many people need ..

I love the fact that I can, like it or not, personalize my catalina. It's cool to say that you made everything yourself. I mean, you can pretty much build a tri five chevy, or a sixties rustang, or pretty much anything else considered a "muscle car" by popular standards. I guess that's one of the reasons I refuse to own the "popular" cars, anyone can build one of those!

I would buy one as long as it was correct. Does anyone know if that 65-66 Swedish trunk floor fit a 1967 Bonneville? Now someone needs to make floors too.
