Truly amazing transformation through hard work, perseverance and patience mixed with more than a little madness and masochism. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done - even though I would prefer to see it restored to original condition he's more than earned the right to customize it any way he chooses. The passenger compartment will need multiple 3x3 & 6x6 sections patched in, or holes welded up - even then, there will be some filler to smooth things out a bit. Both sides of the cowl will need patches at the bottom & both quarters need a substantial amount of work to remedy hits on both sides, but luckily I've got clean quarters I can put on it (I think I'll only need the driver's side, the other can be messaged out.) It is far better than a 67 Camaro convertible he has in the shop however - that guy will have twice as much work needed in his car - even the rockers are rotted out!

The motor has no vin stamped on it and the M-22 that came out of that car has no stampings whatsoever on it - just the casting numbers. 71 GTO Convertible:
Just make sure that when you take SWEETJUDGE for a ride in your convertible, he is wearing Depends. it would be a shame for him to soil such a nice car!!!!! He's just jealous that your car will be done before his and it will be nicer(faster too!!). Some gaffers tape might come in handy too, so you can tape his arms to his side so he doesn't touch anything in your car during the drive!!!
