Question A/C "hard" line

Local buddy of mine here in Houston just scored a Nocturne Blue '79 W72 WS6 T/A, and we're trying to get his A/C system put back together.

All parts have been sourced excepting the front half of the liquid line. This aluminum tube connects to the condenser outlet and connects to the rear part of the liquid line along the top of the fenderwell.

I realize that we could fab something up using aftermarket fittings and hose, but my friend would prefer the OEM appearance of the all aluminum tube.

Studying my old '76-'81 Pontiac MPC, I came up with two possible GM PN's - 526715 or 549096 - both of which are long discontinued PN's.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!
