Default NO EXHAUST VALVE SEAL? OK?

I TRADED & HAVE A SET OF 7K3 HEADS I AM ABOUT TO INSTALL ON MY ENGINE. THEY HAVE A FRESH 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB, NEW DUAL SPRINGS, ETC.

THEY HAVE NEW INTAKE VALVE SEALS ( BLACK WITH YELLOW & HAVE THE METAL RING ), YET EXHAUST VALVES HAVE NO SEAL!!!

SOMEONE ALSO MISTAKINGLY INSTALLED THE SMALL FLAT O-RING AS WELL, THE TYPE THAT IS A SECONDARY SEAL FOR STOCK TYPE VALVES WITH THE GROOVE. THESE VALVES HAVE NO GROOVE SO THE O-RING IS USELESS!!!

IS THIS OK TO RUN NO EXHAUST VALVE SEAL? I HAVE SEEN SOME THREADS SUGGESTING THIS......JUST WANT A GOOD OPINION.

I AM THINKING OF REPLACING ALL THE SEALS WITH THE GOOD PIONEER VITON, JUST TO BE SURE.

I have never run exhaust seals. Just make sure the guides are snug.

Exhaust seals are not required but, I have them installed anyway.

I used to run without exhaust seals on my race motor but started using rubber umbrella seals (OS450) on the exhaust as an extra precaution.

Thought on no exhaust seal-pressure out no suction in like intakes. And with the added heat might need a little extra lube there.
