Hi,
Does anyone have a pic. of the fuel line, mine is base 455 ( or 400 pic. will do ) , 72' Lemans/GTO, from carb to pump? specifically I am looking for the correct routing around t-stat housing? My correct q-jet w/ long filter housing won't allow a straight line out of carb. The line I just received from PY won't fit due to this stright out of carb to front of intake. I can bend & dbl. flare my own easily, just want it correct! ( my OEM, yet maybe wrong t-stat neck ! ) blocks this. Should it route rt. or left of t-stat? Dug through dovens of HPP back issues & found no good pics. Most are blocked by PS pump & Alt. Thanks, Bill.

My Qjet has a short metal fuel filter neck and the metal line going into it has a slight bend upwards and slight bend sideways. Guy was pretty good at making it look factory. The line ducks just underneath the passenger side ram air duct on the air cleaner. Oh there's one bend right above the water pump neck.

The pics I have show the line on the left side of Tstat housing as you face the engine.

![]() I found another one for you. Not the best angle to see the bends, but it's all I have. The bottom of the original line was cut to fit my RobbMc pump, but the bends are still the original ones. BTW this is a 400 though, not a 455.I don't know if they differ?
