Need some leads or ideas on a set of tail pipes for a '70 LeMans station wagon. Of course I wil be going to duals and would like them to exit out the side behind the rear tires. 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" is the diameter I prefer. I have a set off my '70 GTO that I may have to "rework" if I have to. Thanks for any ideas on suppliers or mod procedures.

local muffler shops can do this work all the time.

I have Dougs headers and the Pypes 3" system. All I had to do was cut the tail pipe, flare it, and used part of the pieces that were cut off for the exits behind the rear tires. I just cut the end of the pipes flush with the contour of the shape of the 1/4 panel.
Got any pix of you wagon? I really like the front end of the 70 LeMans.

Thanks for the pipe info, I thought that that may be a possibility. Your wagon is cool! That's the look I am going for on mine. Mine has the non-3rd seat, but has the same side moulding, no roof rack. I'm putting together a strong 350 for it, although I nearly built a 455, removing the A/C, and painting the original Baja Gold. The interior has to be totally redone and am thinking about going to Black from the Saddle color. I'll have to figure out how to post some pic's soon. Do you have any wagon parts? Darren

I got mine from AZ, so I haven't really needed a whole lot. What are you looking for? I am trying to find the rubber for the door guard trim. Haven't been able to locate any yet. Let's see some pics of yours ASAP!
